A Few Trail Makers

Our entrance to the building is at the corner of Hatt Street and McMurray Street on the South East corner of the intersection. There is very limited free parking in the front lot beside the entrance.

There is lots of additional free parking across McMurray Street in the private lot displayed in the picture below.

Our entrance is a little lower than street level, so you will see a slope down to the door. If you are entering from Hatt Street there is a small staircase. Please move carefully down the stairs if you choose to enter that way as it is a little steep.

The Story of

The Cozy Hollow

The Cozy Hollow was created as a place where childhood can unfold slowly, thoughtfully, and with care. It is a space rooted in curiosity, creativity, connection to nature, and the belief that children learn best through unhurried, meaningful play.

Behind The Cozy Hollow is Maggie, a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 18 years of experience in high-quality early learning environments. She is also a Forest School Practitioner, a lifelong learner, and a parent to two young children who inspire her work every day.

Maggie brings together professional knowledge and hands-on experience to thoughtfully design spaces where children feel safe to explore, imagine, and follow their curiosity at their own pace. Her background in Early Childhood Education and development guides every aspect of The Cozy Hollow, from the layout of the space to the flow of each program.

The Ways of the Hollow

  • Please check in at the desk before entering the play space and make sure your waiver is complete.
  • Be Kind and Gentle: Use words and hands that respect others and keep everyone safe.
  • Stay Close: Adults are present to guide and support children during play. Children must be supervised by their adult at all times.
